This is the Shaun White Limited Edition version of the RED Hi-Fi snowboard helmet. It comes with a tasty graphic on the rear left lower quarter and silhouette images of the main man himself throughout the helmet lining. Burton say this is the lightest helmet on earth. We can not vouch for that but it is very light indeed! This is due to the in-mould construction technique, where the EPS (expanded polystyrene) core bonds directly to the outer shell for incredible strength. This is an expensive production technique but it does make makes the helmet incredibly light and low bulk. On our scales, size large weighed just 450 grammes!
